What is the CWCC?

The Canary Wharf Catholic Community is simply the community that has grown up around the celebration of the Mass in the Inter-faith Prayer Room.  Initially it  was under the leadership of Fr Bob (a visiting friend of Fr Peter) but the day to day organisation is now handled by a small group of  volunteers with support from Fr Peter.

Click here to put faces to some the names the volunteers.

For general information, or to volunteer to help, mail:  info@cwcc.org.uk (David)

Mailing Lists

If you would like to be added to the e-mail list for annoucements
then please mail David:  admin@cwcc.org.uk

It is a low-volume list with not normally more one e-mail per week unless there is something special happening, except during Lent when we send out a meditative e-mail every weekday.

You can come off the list at any time by sending an e-mail to the same address.

Supporting the CWCC

While much of the work of running the CWCC is done by volunteers, the costs of  providing a priest to say Mass and speakers expenses are currently being met by St Edmunds parish (not a rich parish, especially compared to Canary Wharf).

If you would be willing to donate £5/month (or some other amount) by standing order then please either complete this form and give it to your bank or use the details set one up yourself on the internet (please incude your name and "CWCC" in the reference).

Please also mail the parish so that they can recognise the money given for CWCC:  millwall@rcdow.org.uk

Holy Day Mass

If there is one it will be announced beforehand at weekly mass, via the e-mail list and on this website but often it is not practicable due to the problems of getting a venue at a suitable time.
